Trinity Sunday

1. Today is the Trinity Sunday. It is celebrated as the “Family Sunday” as 7^th world meeting on the families is opened at Milan, Italy. Hence let us pray for all the families.

2. SCCs conducting the Sunday 8.15am Liturgy:Our Lady of Seven Seas on Sunday 10th June.

4. Registration for R.C.I.A. will be held on every Saturday from 6.30 pm to 8 pm in the conference hall.

5. Tomorrow / today is the First Sunday of the month. There will be full day adoration at the Infant Jesus shrine conducted by the SCC communities. List is on the notice board.

6.   CFCI youth are organizing a youth camp from 8^th, 9^th and 10^th June 2012 at Anubhav centre. Youth who have given their SSC exam and above are eligible for this camp. Those interested can contact the youth at the registration counter set up in the church premises.

7. Family Cell meeting will be held on 9th June (SATURDAY) at 6 PM (after 6 PM mass) above CCO office. All members are requested to attend.

8.  On June 13^th we will be celebrating the feast of St. Anthony of Padua. The novena in preparation for the feast will be held from Monday, June 4^th onwards after the evening 7 pm mass at the grotto of St. Anthony.

9. Half Night Vigil on 16th June 2012 from 8.45 pm to 11 pm in the Church.

10.  Lectors meeting on 17th June at 6.15 PM in the Community Hall.

11. We assign spiritual Director to each of the cells, associations and other major units of the parish from among our parish Clergy. The spiritual Directors for this year have been put been assigned and put on the notice board. The heads of associations and cells kindly contact your respective spiritual directors.

12.  Pre-baptism sessions have been fixed till Dec. 2012. The June pre-baptism classes will be held on June 16,17,24 and 30^th from 4.30 pm to 6 pm. Details on the notice board.

13.  Pastoral helpers meeting will be held on Sunday, June 10th in the conference hall at 6 pm.

14.  On 3rd June St. Joseph's Parish Football Team is participating in the inter parish tournament organized by BCS. We are grateful to Malaika appliances for the Team sponsor and well-wishes for promoting sports. We wish the Team all the best.

15.  A two day retreat is organized for catechists of Pre-Bap / RCIA / Confirmation, Sunday School and Para Liturgy on June 9th & 10th from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. in the Infant Jesus hall.  Attendance is compulsory.

16.  Catechism classes for children of Std. IV to X would begin on June 17^th. Children are requested to assemble on Holy Cross School grounds at 8:15 a.m. Catechism classes for children of Std. I to III, and Confirmation classes would begin on June 24^th.

17.  The June issue of the “Tidings” will be released on June 24^th.The main theme of the issue is “Eco Spirituality”. The last date for articles is June 4^th.  As regards advertisements there is Good News for our parishioners. Children who received Holy Communion would be offered a 10% discount. Parishioners who wish to place various greetings such as Jubilee, birthday etc or obituaries may also avail the same offer.

18.  If someone has Wheel Chair, walking stick, stand etc if it is of no more use for you, you can leave it at CCO office and others who are in need of it, can come and collect the same from CCO Office.

19.  Hereafter on every first Saturday and Sunday of the month Fr. Ronald Sanctis from Gujarat will be available in the church for counseling and confessions from 9 am to 9 pm. Thus today and tomorrow Fr. Ronald will be available for confessions in the parish office. Make avail this opportunity and make a good confession.
