Pentecost Sunday

1. Good news for our Archdiocese. Pope Francis has appointed two new bishops to our Archdiocese. V.Rev.Fr. Dominic Savio Fernandes, the chancellor of our Archdiocese and V. Rev. Fr. John Rodrigues, Dean of Goregaon seminary. We congratulate them and assure our prayers for their ministry as Bishops in our archdiocese.

3. CFCI youth are organizing a youth camp from 31^st May to 2^nd June at Anubhav. Youth who have given their SSC exam and above are eligible for this camp. Those interested can contact the youth at the registration counter in the church premises.
4. The next issue of Tidings will be released on June 23, 2013. Main Theme: Teenagers and Challengers of Today. Last date to submit articles and advertisements is June 2, 2013.  As regards advertisements there is Good News for our parishioners. Children who received Holy Communion would be offered a 10% discount.
5. All Participants of the Sports Event who have not yet collected their participation certificates and caps are requested to collect the same from the counter outside the church this Sunday between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.   
6. Josephine Soul Mate a Marriage Bureau conducted by the Woman Cell is organising a get together for Singles on 9th June 2013, Venue St Joseph       Church, Community Hall, Mira Road, from 10am to 4pm. Kindly inform your friends & relatives to register with the Marriage Bureau counter outside.
7. Boys who are passionate for football and born in 2001 and 2002 register yourself at the earliest for the selection trials of U-13 football team. Register at the Church Office, Anubhav, along with your Birth Certificates. Contact Fr. Agnelo for further details.
8. There will be a meeting of the Parents along with the candidates of confirmation on 2^nd June 2013 at 3.30 pm in the Community Hall. Parents and the candidates are requested to take note of the same and be present for the meeting. They shall be given an overview of the Sacrament of confirmation which will be followed by the issue of forms for registration.
9.   “Sing a New Song” parish hymn book has been reprinted and is available at the book stall for Rs. 50/-. It contains all hymns and novena prayers.
10. For courses and Job opportunities see the notice board. For career guidance of X & XII students, and job and loan guidance kindly contact Mr. J. P. Kurias who is available on every Friday in the counseling room for free consultation between 6 pm to 7 pm.
